Big Horn Bay Scenic Area is located in the southwest extremity of Hailing Island,
Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, retaining arch peaks on three sides, facing the vast
South China Sea, beach 2.5 km long, 100 meters wide, because of the shape of horns,
hence the name "Cape Bay." Here the tropical South Asia, the annual sunshine time is
long, the average temperature of 22.8 ℃, water temperature 23.5 ℃, rainfall is 1816
mm, 310 days in dry weather, seasonal climate and pleasant, well known for bright
sunshine, soft sandy uniform, the sea clear, pure, fresh air, pure well known, various
types of quality in compliance with international class (class) standard, and because
the beach is broad and smooth, soft and medium waves, no sharks to become famous at home
and abroad, natural beach.
Big Horn Bay in Guangdong Yangjiang Hailing Island Scenic Area is the best known
attractions. Development in July 1986, Cape Bay, with its unique advantages, in 1989 by
the Guangdong Provincial People's Government approved the first batch of provincial-
level scenic spots. Hailing Island in 1992 after the establishment of economic
development zone, after the overall planning and unified construction, Hailing Island
tourism has become the most comprehensive evaluation of sites.
